Connecting ministries
PODs
NRN is dedicated to horizontal, relational leadership with our Nicaraguan Partners through what we call PODs. PODs are made up of volunteers with a passion for a particular facet or area of ministry within NRN. PODs provide the bridge between NRN and Nicaragua for each ministry area through protecting the mission, core values, and principles of NRN, attending to the NRN calling, providing discernment, and transferring information between Nicaragua and the United States. NRN has fourteen PODs which cover a variety of communities, ministries, and organizational support areas.

Los Brasiles POD

Supports the ministry in Los Brasiles through partnership with the Serve Him Foundation This ministry encompasses the partnership with five churches, one school and community members.
Oscar Ministry POD

Supports the ministries of Pastor Oscar in Managua, La Concha, Vera Cruz, and La Luz. This ministry encompasses the partnership with four churches, two schools, and community members.
TAV Leadershop POD

Sponsorship POD

Supports the sponsorship of over 1,200 students across four schools and the Agape program. Coordinates between sponsors and Nicaraguan partners.
Special Needs Education POD

College POD

Medical POD

Partners with Dra. Karla in the medical support of all students in the sponsorship program and the operation of a medical clinic in Managua.
